Meet furry and feathered friends in the barns, and cheer on your favorites at the high-energy Auto Cross. Whether you’re here for the action, the animals, or the awe, there’s something for everyone at the fair!
About Us
The Faribault County Fair in Minnesota boasts a rich history dating back to the mid-19th century. The inaugural fair was held on October 5, 1859, in Winnebago City, just four years after the county’s establishment in 1855. At that time, the county’s population was estimated at 1,500 residents.
Over the years, the fair has evolved into a cherished annual event, reflecting the county’s agricultural heritage and community spirit. Today, it takes place in Blue Earth, the county seat, and features a variety of attractions, including livestock exhibitions, arts and horticulture displays, and grandstand events.
Full-Throttle Fun!
Get ready for a wild time at the Grandstands! From high-octane thrills at AutoCross to buckin’ fun at the T&C Rodeo, there’s non-stop action for the whole crew. Watch the littlest cowboys and cowgirls steal the show during Muttin Bustin’—it’s cuteness and courage all in one! When the dust settles, stick around for toe-tappin’, boot-stompin’ live music from crowd favorites IV Play and Thistle Dew. It’s big energy, small-town fun—you won’t want to miss a minute!
